EAGLES UPEND LADY CHARGERS
Waterbury, Conn. (10/7/25) The Dominican University New York women's volleyball team dropped a conference match to north division rival Post University at the Drubner Center in Waterbury, Conn.
The Lady Chargers fall to 4-9 overall and 1-3 in the CACC while the Eagles improve to 13-2 overall and 4-0 in the conference.
The Eagles opened the match with a 25-14 win and then followed by a 25-17 win in the second set for the 2-0 advantage. Post solidified the 3-0 sweep with a 25-21 victory in the third set.
The Lady Chargers were led by Layla Shipley who recorded nine kills. Leila Ortiz picked up seven kills while Trinity Parkin had five kills.
Alexandria De Iasi and Savannah Tody each picked up four kills. De Iasi had seven digs and two block assists while Tody had five digs and one block assist.
Haile Comeau had a team-high 14 digs while Kaeden Sanstead finished with a team-high 27 assists.
The Lady Chargers return home this Saturday when they host Goldey-Beacom College at 12:00 PM in the Hennessy Center.
