#7 CHARGERS FALL TO #2 HOLY FAMILY UNIVERSITY
Philadelphia, Pa. (3/16/21) The seventh-seeded Dominican College women's volleyball team fell to the second-seeded Tigers of Holy Family University, 3-0 (9-25, 17-25, 15-25), this evening in a 2021 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Volleyball Championship Quarterfinal match held in the Campus Center.

With the loss, Dominican ends the season with an overall record 1-7 and a CACC record of 1-5.
Junior outside hitter Emmalyn LaPier (Endicott, N.Y.) led DC with 10 kills and added seven digs.
Lily Ainsworth (Colorado Springs, Colo.) tallied 13 assists and seven digs, while libero Linda Armao Peng (Houston, Texas) recorded 15 digs in the loss.
Senior Essence Boyd (Peekskill, N.Y.) finished with four kills and six digs in her final game.
For the Tigers, Carly Covington and Alyssa Hartney each had 11 kills. Morgan Silks had a match best 35 assists.
