WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO HOLY FAMILY UNIVERSITY

The Lady Chargers fall to 0-4 (0-3 CACC) on the season and Holy Family improves to 2-0 (2- CACC).
Emmalyn LaPier (Endicott, N.Y.) led the team in points with 12. LaPier also added 11 kills and eight digs. Linda Armao Peng (Houston, Texas) recorded a team-high 20 digs while Krystal Paulino (Bronx, N.Y.) recorded 11 digs. Essence Boyd (Peekskill, N.Y.) added a team-high 18 assists.
Alyssa Hartney scored 10 points and Camille Johnson scored 10.5 points for the Tigers. Hartney added 10 kills and Johnson added six kills. Morgan Silks led the team in assists with 30 and added 13 digs.
Faith Zehnder added 11 digs while Maeve Boylan added a team-leading 18 digs.
The Tigers took the first set by a score of 25-8. The Tigers followed up the first set with a strong second set and took a 2-0 lead in the match with a 25-16 win. The Tigers completed the sweep over DC with a 25-11 win in the third set.
DC will look to bounce back when they return home to host the Cougars of Caldwell University on Saturday, March 6th for a CACC conference match. The match is scheduled to begin at 1:00 P.M.
