LADY CHARGERS END REGULAR SEASON WITH LOSS TO GEORGIAN COURT UNIVERSITY
Orangeburg, N.Y. (11/8/14) The Dominican College women's volleyball team ended the regular season with a 3-0 loss (23-25, 17-25 and 22-25) to the visiting Lions of Georgian Court University in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match played on Coach Baxter Court at the Hennessy Center.
Orangeburg, N.Y. (11/8/14) The Dominican College women's volleyball team ended the regular season with a 3-0 loss (23-25, 17-25 and 22-25) to the visiting Lions of Georgian Court University in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match played on Coach Baxter Court at the Hennessy Center.
Prior to the match, the Lady Chargers honored seniors: #3 Keely Fink (Lagrangeville, N.Y.), #6 Kayla Dexter* (Selah. Wash.) and #10 Kadiejah Collins (Newburgh, N.Y.).
Sophomore outside hitter McKenzie John (Lafayette, La.) led all attackers with 20 kills, a team high .300 attack percentage and added five digs.
Kayla Dexter finished with five kills, while her sister Kera Dexter (Selah, Wash.) had a team high 17 assists.
Amanda Hallstein* (Holtsville, N.Y.) contributed 10 assists and five digs in the loss.
Dominican ends the regular season with an overall record of 16-8 and a CACC mark of 12-7.
The team has finished third in the CACC North Division and earns the third north seed in the upcoming CACC Tournament. Quarter-Final action is slated for Tuesday evening at 7pm.
