Madison, NJ (9/20/08) The Dominican College women's volleyball team dropped three matches at the Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham quad match held this afternoon.
In the first match, DC dropped a 3-0 (9-25, 17-25, 16-25) decision to host FDU-Florham Devils. Senior Kinikia Collier (Garnerville, NY) led the Lady Chargers with four kills in the match, while Lauren Palermo (Ottisville, NY) had 13 assists.
The second saw saw Dominican fall to CCNY 3-0 (9-25, 21-25, 10-25). Palermo had three kills and six assists, while sophomore Kerrianne Dudley (Nanuet, NY) also had three kills and five aces.
In the third set of the afternoon, the Lady Chargers fell to Hunter College 3-0 (18-25, 17-25, 22-25). Collier led the team with nine kills in the match. Dudley added five kills, while Palermo had 14 assists.
The losses drop the Lady Chargers record to 0-10 on the season and completed a six match week for DC.
Dominican is back in action on Tuesday when they host Felician College in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match. Game time is set for 7pm on Coach Baxter Court at the Hennessy Center.
