GOLDEY-BEACOM COLLEGE LIGHTNING DEFEAT LADY CHARGERS VOLLEYBALL, 3-0

Blauvelt, NY (9/29/07) The Goldey-Beacom College Lightning defeated the visiting Dominican College Lady Chargers, 3-0 (30-26, 30-24, 30-25) in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) volleyball match this afternoon.

Blauvelt, NY (9/29/07)  The Goldey-Beacom College Lightning defeated the visiting Dominican College Lady Chargers, 3-0 (30-26, 30-24, 30-25)  in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) volleyball match this afternoon.

The Lady Chargers were led by juniors Theresa Hanneman (Pearl River, NY) and Kinikia Collier (Garnerville, NY) who had 10 kills each with Collier adding 12 digs.  Setter Kaitlin Earl (Greenville, NY) had 29 assists in the loss.

Chantal Pierre led GBC with 13 kills, while Kendra Russell had 12 kills.  Danielle Hicks had 33 assists in the win.

With the win, GBC improves to 2-12 overall and 1-4 in the CACC, while Dominican drops to 2-8 overall and 2-5 in the CACC.

The Lady Chargers are back in action on Thursday when they travel to Caldwell College in CACC action.  Game time is 7pm.
