Dominican Cruises to 3-0 Victory Over Felician

Blauvelt, NY (9/27/05) The Lady Chargers volleyball team improved their record to 4-7 overall and 3-5 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference with a 3-0 victory over Felician College this evening at the Hennessy Center.

Freshman Kinikia Collier (Garnerville, NY) led all attackers with nine kills, while Ashley Simpson (Spring Valley, NY) and Kaitlin Earl(Greenville, NY) added seven kills a piece. Senior setter Megan Earl (Greenville, NY) had 23 assists for Dominican.

After dropping the first game 18-30, Felician fought back in the second game to tie the game at 28-28, before losing 30-32.

For the Lady Golden Falcons, sophomore Danielle Norman (Bronx, NY) led the team with eight kills, while Nicole Niedzwicki (Baltimore, MD) had 14 assists.

Dominican will be in action again on Thursday, September 29 as they travel to Wilmington College for a CACC match at 7pm.
