LADY CHARGERS HAVE THREE TOP FIVE FINISHES AT RAMAPO TRACK & FIELD INVITATIONAL

Results

Mahwah, N.J. (3/28/26)  The Dominican University New York women's track and field team finished in 13th place at the Ramapo College Track and Field Invitational held yesterday and today.

Kiana Thomas took third place in the 400m hurdles, while Isabella Mack also had a third place finish in the long jump.

The triple jump saw Chiara Rosamilia take fifth place.

SATURDAY TOP FIVE RESULTS

  • The 400m hurdles event saw Thomas take third place with a time of 1:14.17.
  • Mack took third place in the long jump with a jump of 4.95m (16-03.00).   
  • In the triple jump, Rosamilia finished in fifth place with a jump of 9.55m (31-04.00).

SATURDAY RESULTS

  • In the discus throw, Tori Benson took eighth place with a throw of 30.62m (100-05).  Julissa Velazquez finished in 20th place with a throw of 24.30m (79-08).
  • Veronica Valentik took 12th place in the 400m dash with a time of1:05.86.  Anjalice Arias finished in 19th place with 1:08.30.
  • The 200m dash saw Jayda Jones take 13th place with a time of 27.32.  Mack finished in 19th place with a time of 27.70 and Tiara Cargill took 21st place with a time of 27.77.
  • In the 800m run Sarai Cruz took 15th place with a time of 2:38.43.
  • Jones took 16th place in the 100m dash prelims with a time of 13.19.  Mack took 19th place (13.31) and Cargill finished in 25th place (13.42).
  • Rosamilia finished in 20th place in the long jump of 4.29m (14-01.00).
  • In the 1500m run Cruz took 25th place with a time of 5:35.50, while Rachel Reagan finished in 50th place with a time of 6:48.24.

FRIDAY RESULTS

  • In the shot put Valentik took 11th place with a throw of 9.84m (32-03.50), while Benson finished in 17th place with a throw of 9.38m (30-09.25).
  • Valentik took 15th place in the javelin event with a throw of 26.72m (87-08).
  • The 5000m run saw Reagan take 30th place with a time of 25:27.70.

The Lady Chargers return to action on April 12th when they travel to the MSMC Knight Invite.
