LADY CHARGERS TRAVEL TO TCNJ INVITATIONAL

Results

Ewing, N.J. (4/12/25)  The Dominican University New York women's track and field team traveled to the TCNJ Invitational held yesterday and today and hosted by The College of New Jersey.

SATURDAY'S RESULTS

  • Tiara Cargill took fifth place in the 200m dash with a time of 27.65.  Jayda Jones finished in 15th place with a time of 28.62 and Lynn Jacob took 21st place with a time of 29.07.
  • Kenyce Scavella had a sixth place finish in the discus event with a throw of 33.81m (110' 11"), while Tori Benson finished in 17th place with a throw of 29.69m (97' 5").
  • In the 400m dash, Anna Murphy finished in 15th place with a time of 1:05.92 and Anjalice Arias took 26th place with a time of 1:09.66.
  • Scavella took 15th place in the shot put with a throw of 9.33m (30' 7.5") and Benson finished in 21st place with a throw of 8.93m (29' 3.75").
  • The 100m dash preliminaries, Jacob ran a time of 13.59 to finish in 18th place, while Jones took 21st place with a time of 13.76.  Cargill finished in 22nd place with a time of 13.78 with Genesis Jimenez finishing in 28th place with a time of 14.13 and Kiana Thomas took 32nd place with a time of 18.26.
  • In the long jump, Jimenez took 18th place with a jump of 4.39m (14' 5").  Cargill finished in 20th place with a jump of 4.22m (13' 10.25").
  • Rachel Reagan took 51st place in the 1500m run with a time of 6:46.77.

FRIDAY'S RESULTS

  • In the 5000m run, Reagan finished in 11th place with a time of 24:16.43.

The Lady Chargers will travel to the Penn Relays on April 24th.
