LADY CHARGERS COMPETE AT MARK T. YOUNG INVITATIONAL
West Haven, Conn. (4/9/16) The Dominican College women's track and field team traveled to the Mark T. Young Invitational held today at Yale University.

Junior Khadijah Cox (New Milford, N.J.) took second place in the 100m dash with a time of 13.57. Teammate Aniah Vincent-Dace (Albany, N.Y.) took 13th place with a time of 16.39.
Cox also competed in the 200m dash where she finished in seventh place with a time of 27.97 and took third place in the long jump with a jump of 4.05m (13 feet, 3.50 inches).
In the 400m dash, Christina Burgos (Staten Island, N.Y.) had the high finish of 12th place with a time of 1:07.14. Kim Koeder (Schwaebisch Hall, Germany) took 14th place with a time of 1:08.25, while Erica Pate (Bronx, N.Y.) finished in 16th place with a time of 1:09.88.
Three Lady Chargers competed in the 800m run with Ina Koeder (Schwaebisch Hall, Germany) having the high finish of 25th place with a time of 2:40.41. Jennifer Heller (Butler, N.J.) took 28th place with a time of 2:45.68, while Andrea Zuluaga (North Bergen, N.J.) finished in 30th place with a time of 3:11.30.
Jessica Graci (Staten Island, N.Y.) ran the 1500m run in a time of 5:32.30 to finish in 39th place, while Emily Lopez* (Staten Island, N.Y.) took 41st place with a time of 5:33.86.
Freshman Kayla Adams (Englewood, N.J.) ran in the 100m hurdles event where she took ninth place with a time of 18:49.
The 4x100m relay team of Da-Naeya Rhodes (Union, N.J.), Pate, Adams and Cox took second place with a time of 52.82.
Abigail Jacquet (Garnerville, N.Y.) had a throw of 7.98m (26 feet, 6.75 inches) in the shot put event to finish in ninth place.
