WOMEN'S TRACK AND FIELD COMPETE AT SEVENTH ANNUAL RAMAPO COLLEGE INVITATIONAL

Mahwah, N.J. (4/2/16) The Dominican College women's track and field team competed at the Seventh Annual Ramapo College Invitational held yesterday and today at Ramapo College of New Jersey.

Mahwah, N.J. (4/2/16)  The Dominican College women's track and field team competed at the Seventh Annual Ramapo College Invitational held yesterday and today at Ramapo College of New Jersey.

Junior Khadijah Cox (New Milford, N.J.) took 27th place in the preliminary 100m dash with a time of 13.49.  Da-Naeya Rhodes (Union, N.J.) finished in 43rd place with a time of 14.07, while Aniah Vincent-Dace (Albany, N.Y.) took 60th place with a time of 15.85.

Cox took part in the 200m dash where she finished with a time of 27.77 to take 19th place.  Junior Erica Pate (Bronx, N.Y.) finished in 42nd place with a time of 29.53.  Rhodes took 49th place with a time of 30.25.  Kim Koeder (Schwaebisch Hall, Germany) finished in 57th place with a time of 31.00, while Vincent-Dace ran a time of 35.05 to finish in 67th place.

K. Koeder ran in the 400m dash and placed 31st with a time of 1:08.70, while Pate took 36th place with a time of 1:10.42.  Christina Burgos (Staten Island, N.Y.) followed in 48th place with a time of 1:20.15.

Ina Koeder (Schwaebisch Hall, Germany) and Jennifer Heller (Butler, N.J.) took 45th and 46th place in the 800m run with a time of 2:45.85 and 2:46.22.

In the 1500m run event, freshman Jessica Graci (Staten Island, N.Y.) finished in 39th place with a time of 5:46.79.

Junior Emily Lopez* (Staten Island, N.Y.) took 18th place in the 5000m run with a time of 20:59.11.

Kayla Adams (Englewood, N.J) took 27th place in the 100m hurdle prelminaries with a time of 20:11.

The Lady Charger relay team of Rhodes, Pate, Adams and Cox took tenth place in the 4x100m relay with a time of 53:29.

The 4x400m relay saw the team of K. Koeder, I. Koeder, Pate and Burgos also take tenth place with a time of 4:47.71.

Senior Jamie McGinn (Philadelphia, Pa.) finished in 31st place in the long jump with a jump of 4.01m (13 feet, 1.87 inches).

Abigail Jacquet (Garnerville, N.Y.) took part in the discus throw where she finished in 19th place with a throw of 25.46m (83 feet, 6.36 inches)

Junior Gina Yannette (Dumont, N.J.) had the high finish of sixth place in the javelin throw with a throw of 31.85m (104 feet, 5.93 inches).
