WOMEN'S TENNIS UPEND LIGHTNING

Newark, Del. (9/20/25)  The Dominican University New York women's tennis team upended host, Goldey-Beacom College, 4-3, this afternoon in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action.

With the win Dominican improves to 1-2 overall and 1-2 in conference play.

The Lady Chargers won the doubles point as the team of Elizaveta Kisel and Angelina Amelkina defeated their opponents, 7-5, and Vanya Tyagi and Bryn Fitzmaurice won their match 6-0 to give DUNY the 1-0 lead.

In singles, Kisel won her match (6-2, 7-5) to knot the match at 2-all.  Fitzmaurice followed with a 6-1, 6-0 victory and Hayley McGhee closed out the match with a 6-2, 1-6, 6-2 win for the 4-3 match victory.
