LADY CHARGERS OPEN SEASON WITH LOSS TO WILDCATS

Wilmington, Del. (9/13/25)  The Dominican University New York women's tennis team opened up the Fall 2025 season with a 7-0 loss to host Wilmington University.

After the match, the Lady Chargers now stand at 0-1 overall and 0-1 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play.

Freshman Bryn Fitzmaurice won three games in her singles match, but ultimately fell 6-3, 6-1. 

Elizaveta Kisel won a game in her first set and two in her second.

The Lady Chargers return to action on Tuesday afternoon when they host Thomas Jefferson University.  Match time is slated for 3pm at Manny Welder Park.
