Philadelphia, Pa. (4/10/21) The Dominican College women's tennis team lost a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match to host, Thomas Jefferson University, 4-3 this afternoon in a match played at the Legacy Tennis Center.
Philadelphia, Pa. (4/10/21) The Dominican College women's tennis team lost a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match to host, Thomas Jefferson University, 4-3 this afternoon in a match played at the Legacy Tennis Center.
Freshman Mariana Ling (Orlando, Fla.) picked up two wins this afternoon as she won her second singles match by the scores of 6-3 and 6-4. Ling along with her teammate Isha Mbaye (New Orleans, La.) won their first doubles match by the score of 6-1.
Nora Frederick (Dover, Del.) defeated her opponent in the fifth singles match by the scores of 7-5 and 7-5, while Joana Ndunduma (Cedar Hill, Texas) also picked up a win in sixth singles, 7-5, 2-6, 10-8.
With the loss, Dominican is now 0-3 overall and 0-3 in conference play.
The Lady Chargers are scheduled to return to action on Monday afternoon when they host Concordia College.
