Orangeburg, N.Y. (10/22/25) The Dominican university New York women's soccer team fell in a non-conference match up to the Purple Knights of St. Michael's College this afternoon on O'Brien Field.
The Lady Chargers fall to 4-7-3 overall on the season while the Purple Knights, #7 in the United Soccer Coaches East Region Poll, improve to 12-2-1 overall.
DU goalkeeper Stella Paton got the start in goal and made a career high 13 saves but suffered the loss. Hannah Grenier saw 22:41 of action and made two saves.
SMC starting goalkeeper Chloe Laizer picked up the win in 75:26 of action and Hanna Outhouse entered the game and played 14:34.
The Purple Knights got on the board in the 28th minute after a goal by Lola Follansbee. Kayleigh Crowell and Bia Maluf picked up the double assist.
St. Michael's extended their lead in the 56th and 58th minutes after goals by Sarah Gormley and Scarlett Brookes. Brookes and Jules Peterson picked up the double assists.
Jessie Maraia and Emilie Stochkel each recorded a shot for Dominican.
The Lady Chargers return to action and conference play this Saturday when they hit the road to take on the lions of Georgian Court University.
