LADY CHARGERS PLAY TO 0-0 DRAW WITH SAINT MICHAEL'S COLLEGE

Orangeburg, N.Y. (9/3/22) The Dominican University New York women's soccer team played to a 0-0 draw with the visiting Purple Knights of Saint Michael's College in non-conference action played this afternoon at the OMM Complex Field #5.

Orangeburg, N.Y. (9/3/22) The Dominican University New York women's soccer team played to a 0-0 draw with the visiting Purple Knights of Saint Michael's College in non-conference action played this afternoon at the OMM Complex Field #5.

Sophomore midfielder Isabella Wysocki (Rahway, N.J.) had two shots on goal, including a shot that was denied by a diving save by the SMC keeper in the seventh minute of action.  Danai Chimedza (Atlanta, Ga.) had a shot hit the left post in the 11th minute

The Purple Knights held a 15-9 lead in shots, while Dominican took nine of the 13 corner kicks.

Keeper Stella Paton (Edinburgh, Scotland) made a career high eight saves.

With the tie, Dominican is now 2-1-1 on the season.

Dominican returns to action on Friday morning when they open up Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play with a home game against Thomas Jefferson University.  Kickoff is slated for 11:30am.
