WOMEN'S SOCCER ENDS REGULAR SEASON WITH OT WIN ON SENIOR DAY
Orangeburg, N.Y. (11/3/21) The Dominican College women’s soccer team finished the 2021 season with an overtime win over the Felician University Golden Falcons on Senior Day.

The Chargers won the game 2-1 and improved to 10-5 (9-2 CACC).
The Chargers celebrated Senior Day and recognized their five seniors before the game. Bailey Cummings (Clarkstown, N.Y.), Abby Montera (New City, N.Y.), Natalie Cargill (Colon, La Republica de Panama), Brianna Sparrow (Cherry Hill, N.J.), and Gabriella Bedetti (Newburgh, N.Y.) were all recognized prior to the start of the game.
Lauren Drummond (Kitchener, Ontario, Canada) started in net for the Chargers and made three saves in the win. With the win, Drummond improves to 9-2 on the season.
The goalkeeper for Felician Brieanna Martins made 10 saves in the game.
The Chargers took 26 shots as a team. Isabella Wysocki (Rahway, N.J.) took a team-high 10 shots. Alissa Madura (Warwick, N.Y.) took four shots and scored both goals for DC.
Katinka Ummels scored the first goal of the game to give Felician the 1-0 lead. Brieanna Martins recorded an assist on the goal.
Madura scored her first goal at 32:54 of the first half and Wysocki earned the assist. The game remained tied throughout the second half and went to overtime.
Madura scored her second goal of the game just under three minutes into overtime to help lift the Chargers over the Golden Falcons. Sparrow recorded an assist on the game-winning goal.
The Chargers will be back in action next Tuesday, November 9th for the first round of the 2021 CACC Tournament at 2:00 PM. DC's first round opponent is still to be determined.
