CONTRERAS MAKES A CAREER HIGH IN SAVES IN LOSS TO GCU

Lakewood, N.J. (10/15/16) The Dominican College women's soccer team fell in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action to host, Georgian Court University, 5-0, this afternoon in a game played on the campus of Georgian Court University.

Lakewood, N.J. (10/15/16)  The Dominican College women's soccer team fell in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action to host, Georgian Court University, 5-0, this afternoon in a game played on the campus of Georgian Court University.

Despite the loss, sophomore keeper Angelica Contreras (Baytown, Texas) made a career high 17 saves (12 saves in the first hlaf) in 83:18 in the net.

Samantha Simler (Cheshire, Conn.) made one save in the remaining 6:42.

GCU netted one goal in the first half and added four more in the second for the win.

Dominican (4-10, 4-6 CACC) will host Bloomfield College this coming Tuesday at 3:30 pm on the DC Soccer Field.
