LIONS SHUT OUT WOMEN'S SOCCER

Orangeburg, N.Y. (10/6/16) The Dominican College women's soccer team lost a non-conference game to the visiting Lions of Molloy College, 3-0, this afternoon in a game played on the DC Soccer Field.

Orangeburg, N.Y. (10/6/16)  The Dominican College women's soccer team lost a non-conference game to the visiting Lions of Molloy College, 3-0, this afternoon in a game played on the DC Soccer Field.

Molloy got on the scoreboard in the 28th minute on a shot from inside the box and took a 1-0 lead into the locker room at the break.

The Lions added to the lead at 61:31 and used a direct kick goal in the 81st minute for the 3-0 win.

Starting keeper Melissa Richards (Nanuet, N.Y.) made 10 saves in 73:12, while Samantha Simler (Cheshire, Conn.) had four saves in 16:48.

Dominican (3-7) will host Goldey-Beacom College on Saturday afternoon.
