Rockville Centre, N.Y. (9/26/15) The Dominican College women's soccer team fell to the Lions of Molloy College, 3–0, this afternoon in a non-conference matchup at the Dean G. Skelos Sports Complex. With the defeat, the Lady Chargers fall to 0-5 overall.
The two teams played to a scoreless first half, and the Lions recorded their first goal in the 72nd minute of play. Molloy College would score two more goals by 84th minute to hold a 3-0 advantage.
Lady Chargers freshman goalkeeper Angelica Contreras (Baytown, Texas) made 11 saves in 90 minutes of action.
Ina Koeder (Schwaebisch Hall, Germany) led the Lady Chargers with two shots in the game.
