(9/8/15) The Dominican College women's soccer team opened up the 2015 season with a 3-0 loss to host, New York Institute of Technology, in a non-conference game played at President's Stadium. Following the loss, the Lady Chargers drop to 0-1 overall while the Bears improve to 3-0 on the season.

Following the loss, the Lady Chargers drop to 0-1 overall while the Bears improve to 3-0 on the season.
NYIT scored their first goal in the eighth minute of action and netted their second shortly before the end of the first stanza for a 2-0 lead.
The third and final goal at the 46:54 mark for the 3-0 win.
The Bears out shot the Lady Chargers, 21-3 and held a 9-0 advantage in corner kicks.
Junior Melissa Richards (Nanuet, N.Y.) made four saves in 76:39 minutes, while rookie Angelica Contreras (Baytown, Texas) had one save in the final 13:21.
DC returns to action on Saturday afternoon as they host Georgian Court University in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game. Kick-off is slated for 12pm on the DC Soccer Field.
