LADY CHARGERS SOCCER EDGE CONCORDIA COLLEGE

(10/9/12) The Dominican College women's soccer squad edged the visiting Clippers of Concordia College, 1-0, this afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played at the DC Soccer Field. With the win, Dominican improves to 4-5-1 overall and 3-3-1 in conference play.

(10/9/12)  The Dominican College women's soccer squad edged the visiting Clippers of Concordia College, 1-0, this afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played at the DC Soccer Field.  With the win, Dominican improves to 4-5-1 overall and 3-3-1 in conference play.

The game winning goal came at the 65:17 mark as freshman forward Stephanie Falzarano (Roslyn Heights, N.Y.) netted her second goal of the season on a shot from six yards out after the pass from junior Danielle Klecha (Jamesburg, N.J.).

Lady Charger keeper Veronica Iozzi (Chester, N.J.) made two saves in the win.

Dominican outshot the Clippers 15-6 and held a 7-2 advantage in corner kicks.

DC is back in action on Saturday as they travel to Philadelphia University.
