WOMEN'S SOCCER PLAY TO DRAW WITH FELICIAN COLLEGE

Lyndhurst, N.J. (9/26/12) The Dominican College soccer team played to a 1-1 double overtime draw with host, Felician College, this evening in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played at the Lyndhurst Recreation Complex. With the tie, Dominican now stands at 3-4-1 overall and 2-2-1 in conference play.

Lyndhurst, N.J. (9/26/12)  The Dominican College soccer team played to a 1-1 double overtime draw with host, Felician College, this evening in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played at the Lyndhurst Recreation Complex.  With the tie, Dominican now stands at 3-4-1 overall and 2-2-1 in conference play.

The Golden Falcons took a 1-0 lead in the 22nd minute of action and went into halftime with a 1-0 lead.

The Lady Chargers tied the contest at the 58 minute mark as sophomore midfielder Jennifer Becker (Hawthorne, N.J.) scored a goal off the assist from Stephanie Falzarano (Roslyn Heights, N.Y) for a 1-1 score.

The score remained tied at the end of regulation.  DC got one shot on goal in the first overtime period and FC had three shots on goal in the second overtime .

Felician edged Dominican, 13-11 on shots and held a 4-2 advantage in corner kicks.

Lady Charger goalie Veronica Iozzi (Chester, N.J.) made four saves in the game.

Dominican is back in action on Saturday as they travel to CACC foe, Holy Family University.
