GEORGIAN COURT UNIVERSITY EDGES WOMEN'S SOCCER

Lakewood, N.J. (9/15/12) The Dominican College women's soccer team fell to host, Georgian Court University, 1-0 this afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played at Investors Savings Bank Field. With the loss, Dominican falls to 1-4 overall and 1-2 in conference play.

Lakewood, N.J. (9/15/12)  The Dominican College women's soccer team fell to host, Georgian Court University, 1-0 this afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played at Investors Savings Bank Field.  With the loss, Dominican falls to 1-4 overall and 1-2 in conference play.

The game winning goal was scored at the 55:05 mark.

GCU outshot the Lady Chargers, 8-3 and held a 9-2 advantage in corner kicks.

Lady Charger keeper Veronica Iozzi (Chester, N.J.) made five saves in the loss.

Dominican is back in action on Wednesday when they host St. Thomas Aquinas College in a non-conference game at the DC Soccer Field.
