New Castle, DE (10/14/06) The Wildcats of Wilmington College were upended by the Chargers of Dominican College, 2-1 in CACC women's soccer action on Saturday afternoon at the Kirkwood Soccer Complex.
Alexandra Nodine (Freehold, NJ) put the Chargers on the board early in the first half when she scored an unassisted goal just 2:46 into the game. Nodine put a shot on net that skipped through the outstretched hands of Wildcat keeper, Catie Joynes. Wilmington cut the deficit to one goal early in the second half as junior midfielder Sasha Neveras punched a feed from senior forward Melissa Samio just three minutes in.
