JENTZEN NAMED CACC ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Orangeburg, NY (4/24/12) Dominican College women's lacrosse player, KC Jentzen, has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week for the week ending March 22nd. Corrine Coyle of Georgian Court University was named the Player of the Week.

Orangeburg, NY (4/24/12)  Dominican College women's lacrosse player, KC Jentzen, has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Week for the week ending March 22nd.  Corrine Coyle of Georgian Court University was named the Player of the Week.

Jentzen, a sophomore midfielder from Pearl River, NY, recorded 12 goals and three assists for a total of 15 points in a 1-1 week for the Lady Chargers.  She tallied seven goals and two assists for nine total points in victory over Georgian Court (4/17) and added five goals and one assist in loss to Wilmington University (4/21).

Coyle, a junior midfielder from Brick, NJ, tallied 16 points over three games last week including 12 goals and four assists.  She also added thee groundballs and won eight draws.  This marks the second time this season that Coyle has been recognized as the CACC Lacrosse Player of the Week.
