WOMEN'S GOLF OPENS SEASON AT JEFFERSON TRI-MATCH

Philadelphia, Pa. (3/23/21) The Dominican College women's golf team opened up the 2021 season with a third place finish at the Jefferson Tri-Match held today at Union League Liberty Hill (formely ACE Club).

Philadelphia, Pa. (3/23/21) The Dominican College women's golf team opened up the 2021 season with a third place finish at the Jefferson Tri-Match held today at Union League Liberty Hill (formely ACE Club).

In their first outing since 2019, the Lady Chargers compiled a team score of 415 to finish behind Kutztown University and Thomas Jefferson University.

Sophomore Marissa DeMarco (Hicksville, N.Y.) was the high finisher for the DC with an individual score of 101.

Clare Alaimo (West Nyack, N.Y.) and Mariella Yanitelli (Stony Point, N.Y.) tied with a score of 104.

Freshman Miranda Tucker (Nassau, Bahamas) shot a 106 on the day, while Bridget Geyer (West Nyack, N.Y.) rounded out the scoring with a score of 111.

Dominican is scheduled to return to action on April 5-6 at the Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Spring Tournament.
