LADY CHARGERS PICKED SECOND IN CACC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PRESEASON COACHES POLL

(11/2/22) Post University and Thomas Jefferson University were picked first in their respective divisions on Wednesday in the 2022-23 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Basketball Preseason Coaches Poll, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. Voting for the poll was conducted by the league's 13 head coaches in the sport.

(11/3/22) Post University and Thomas Jefferson University were picked first in their respective divisions on Wednesday in the 2022-23 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Basketball Preseason Coaches Poll, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara. Voting for the poll was conducted by the league's 13 head coaches in the sport.
Post, which reached the CACC Championship semifinals last season, earned 77 points in the voting -- including 8 first-place nods -- to rank first in the North Division. Dominican University New York, which claimed the CACC Championship two years ago, was second with 71 points and three first-place votes.
Jefferson topped the South side with 71 points and 11 first-place votes, while Chestnut Hill College was second with 61 points and two top votes. Both the Rams and Griffins advanced to the NCAA Division II East Region Tournament a season ago as at-large teams.
The 2022-23 CACC Women's Basketball season gets underway on Friday, Nov. 11, as the regular season slate will be a buildup to the CACC Women's Basketball Championship Tournament from Feb. 28 through March 5. Jefferson will serve as the host institution for CACC semis and finals this season.
