The Lady Chargers had three players in double figures, led by Taylor Tomlinson (Middletown, N.Y.) with 16 points and six rebounds.
Senior Khay'la Latimer (Teaneck, N.J.) finished with 15 points, six assists and five rebounds, while Tanasha Mills (New City, N.Y.) scored 11 points and three assists.
Guard Olivia Levy (Stony Point, N.Y.) netted 10 points off the bench for Dominican.
For the Saints, Amari Anthony led four players in double figures with 22 points and eight reboundw, while Ahniysha Jackson finished with eight assists.
Siena started off the game with a 10-2 lead, but DC cut it to 12-10 with under six minutes left on a trey from Latimer. Forward Jaid Harrell (Kingston, N.Y.) gave the Lady Chargers their first lead of the game on a layup for a 24-23 edge and Tomlinson added to the lead with a free throw to make the score 25-23 with 34 seconds left. A Saint layup closed out the first half and made the score 25-all.
In the second quarter Alexis Suarez (Poughquag, N.Y.) brought the Lady Chargers within three (47-44) on a jumpshot but a Saint three-point basket gave them a 50-44 lead at the intermission.
Siena outscored Dominican 19-17 in the third quarter and 30-20 in the final frame for the 99-81 win.
Dominican shot 46.7% from the floor, 33.3% from the three point arc and 61.8% from the charity stripe in the game.
The Lady Chargers open up their regular season on Friday, November 12th as they take on Mercy College at the 2021 STAC Challenge. Game time is slated for 7pm in Sparkill, N.Y.
