WOMEN'S BASKETBALL EARNS SEASON SWEEP OVER NYACK COLLEGE
Orangeburg, N.Y. (2/23/21) The Dominican College Women’s Basketball team completed the season sweep over Nyack College with a 74-55 win.

The Lady Chargers improve to 7-1 (6-1 CACC) and extend their current winning streak to seven games.
The Warriors fall to 3-6 (3-6 CACC) after the loss.
Taylor Tomlinson (Middletown, N.Y.) led the way for DC with 13 points and added three rebounds and two assists. Jasmine Gee (Englewood, N.J.) scored 12 points and recorded a team-high nine rebounds. Gee also added five assists.
Alexis Suarez (Poughquag, N.Y.) finished with 11 points, four rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Jaid Harrell (Kingston, N.Y.) scored 10 points and finished with three rebounds.
Korina Guerra (White Plains, N.Y.) and Khay'la Latimer (Teaneck, N.J.) each scored nine points. Latimer added five assists and five rebounds while Guerra recorded three rebounds, three steals, and one assist.
For the Warriors, Raquel Crooke-Losada led the way with a double-double. Crooke-Losada scored 20 points and recorded 10 rebounds. Angelina DiMarisco and Jasmine Cruse each scored eight points. Kelsey McCaskill added seven boards.
The Lady Chargers opened the game with a strong first quarter and held an 18-13 lead. DC followed up the first quarter with a strong second quarter and held a 37-23 lead at halftime.
In the second half, the Lady Chargers extended to their largest lead of the game which was 19 points to help them secure the win.
The Lady Chargers will be back in action on Thursday, February 25th when they host Felician University at 6:00 P.M.
