LADY CHARGERS TRACK TAKE PART IN YALE SPRINGTIME INVITATIONAL

Orangeburg, NY (5/1/12) The Dominican College women's track team competed this past weekend at the Yale Springtime Invitational held in New Haven, CT. Dominican competed in a variety of different events at the meet that featured over 20 events.

Orangeburg, NY (5/1/12)  The Dominican College women's track team competed this past weekend at the Yale Springtime Invitational held in New Haven, CT.  Dominican competed in a variety of different events at the meet that featured over 20 events.

In the 800 meter run, freshman Renee Roncace (Valley Cottage, NY) finished in 32nd place with a time of 2:29.38, while teammate Samantha Klunk (York, PA) took 62nd place with a time of 2:49.09.

Amber Lacey (Mount Vernon, NY) had the top individual finish for the Lady Chargers as she finished in 18th place in the 200 meter dash.  Junior Ashley Hodges (Bronx, NY) ran a time of 28.92 to finish in 29th place.

The team of Roncace, Lacey, Hodges and Jessica Avila (Mount Vernon, NY) competed in the 4x400 meter relay and took 10th place with a time of 5:19.42.
