WOMEN'S TRACK TAKES PART IN STJ MONDAY MEETING
Queens, NY (4/7/10) The Dominican College women's track squad traveled to to Saint John's University to take part in the STJ Monday Meeting held this past Monday at the DaSilva Memorial Track.
Queens, NY (4/7/10) The Dominican College women's track squad traveled to to Saint John's University to take part in the STJ Monday Meeting held this past Monday at the DaSilva Memorial Track.
The Lady Chargers competed in five events at the meet and placed in the top ten in all of them.
Freshman middle distance runner Julia Miller (Mount Vernon, NY) took second place in the women's 400 meters, while sophomore co-captain Samantha Klunk (York, PA) took second place in the women's 3000 meter race.
Fellow freshman Michelle Brito (Washington Heights, NY) took fifth place in the women's 100 meter dash, while teammates Sarah Dugandzic (Suffern, NY) and Schae Auffant (Catskill, NY) took seventh and eighth place respectively in the women's 1500 meter race.
Co-captain Tameeka Cooper (New Rochelle, NY) took fourth place in the women's long jump.
