RAGAZZO NAMED ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Orangeburg, N.Y. (4/22/13) Dominican College softball player, Kimberly Ragazzo, has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the week for the week ending April 21st. This is her second Rookie of the Week accolades this season.

Orangeburg, N.Y. (4/22/13)  Dominican College softball player, Kimberly Ragazzo, has been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the week for the week ending April 21st.  This is her second Rookie of the Week accolades this season.

Ragazzo, a freshman from Lawrenceville, N.J., hit .412 (14-34) in an 8-2 week for the Lady Chargers.  She recorded two doubles and three home runs for a team leading 12 RBIs.  She posted a .459 on-base percentage and a .735 slugging percentage, while having a .889 fielding percentage.  On the mound, she made four appearances and had a 2-1 record.
