SOFTBALL SWEEPS ST. MICHAEL'S COLLEGE ON FINAL DAY OF NTC GAMES
Clermont, FL (3/15/09) The Lady Chargers softball squad improved to 6-3 with a double-header sweep of St. Michael's College, 9-0 and 10-8 on the final day of the National Training Center Games in Clermont, FL.

Junior Danielle Garrison (Coatesville, PA) picked up the win in game one, allowing just two hits and striking out 10 batters in the five inning win.
Senior Sarah Beck (Milton, NY) went 2-2 with three RBIs, while sophomore Nicole Scarillo (South Amboy, NJ) had five RBI's, including a grand slam home run, to finish 2-3.
Freshman Deidre Jeppson (Sylmar, CA) went 3-3 with three runs scored and two stolen bases as DC crusied to the 9-0 victory.
The Lady Chargers went into the top of the seventh, tied 8-8 when DC broke away with two runs on RBI singles by Beck and Scarillo to take the night cap 10-8.
With the wins DC improves to 6-3 overall.
Dominican is back in action on Saturday, March 21st when they open up Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play with a double-header at Wilmington University.
