Orangeburg, N.Y. (4/5/25) The Dominican University New York men's volleyball team swept an East Coast Conference match from the visiting Yellow Jackets of American International College, 3-0, this afternoon in a match played on Baxter Court in the Hennessy Center.
With the win the Chargers improve to 6-20 overall and 3-2 in ECC play.
Dominican won the match in straight sets by scores of 25-21, 25-23 and 25-17.
Sets two and three saw the Chargers post an attack percentage of .417 (14 kills/24 attack attempts) and .357 (14 kills/28 attack attempts).
Outside hitter Blake Krapf had a team high 10 kills and a .350 attack percentage.
Ayden Shaw recorded nine kills and six service aces, while Hunter Paio tallied four kills.
Setter Jaden Wilcox had 20 assists and Jamel Toste had eight assists.
Libero Tyler Roukey had six digs in the win.
The Chargers return to action next weekend when they travel to St. Thomas Aquinas College next Saturday.
