Northridge, Calif. (2/7/25) The Dominican University New York men's volleyball team lost to #16 CSUN, 3-0, this evening in the first of three matches on the team's west coast trip.
With the win the Matadors improve to 8-2 overall, while the Chargers fall to 1-5 on the season.
CSUN won the match in straight sets by scores of 25-14, 25-21, 25-16.
As a team, the Chargers recorded a .308 attack percentage in the first set and a .375 attack percentage in the third set.
Sophomore outside hitter Ayden Shaw had a team leading six kills, a .308 attack percentage and four assists.
Daniel Malcolm recorded four kills and two digs, while Blake Krapf had three kills.
Libero Tyler Roukey had a team leading six digs in the loss.
The Chargers return to action tomorrow afternoon when they take on USC.
