CHARGERS COMPETE AT FASTRACK LAST CHANCE MEET
Staten Island, N.Y. (2/20/26) The Doinican University New York men's track and field team returned to action today at the Fastrack Last Chance Meet held at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.
Aaron Williams had a seventh place finish in the 400m dash, while Jean Fanco Del Valle Guerrero also had a seventh place finish with a time of 8.58.
Freshman GianLuca Saggio took 10th place in the shot put event.
Results
- Aaron Williams took seventh place in the 400m dash with a time of 50.45. Samuel Fileen finished in 14th place with a tie of 51.71 and Tyler Colebrook took 16th place with a time of 52.91. Nickoy Henry was right behind him in 17th place (52.98), while Connor Grable finished in 23rd place (53.74), Christopher Rodriguez Gonzalez in 26th place (54.03) and Jameel Richardson in 29th place (54.27).
- The 60m hurdles saw Jean Franco Del Valle Guerrero take seventh place with a time of 8.58, after running a time of 8.70 in the prelims.
- GianLuca Saggio took part in the shot put event and took 10th place with a throw of 12.12m (39' 9.25").
- Guerrero also competed in the 60m dash and took 11th place with a time of 7.55. Eliezer Rosario finished in 15th place with a time of 7.61 and Aidan Mallon took 17th place with a time of 7.65.
- In the 800n run, Deshawn Douglas placed 15th with a time of 2:00.39 and Prince Copeland took 18th place with a time of 2:01.48.
- Douglas took 21st place in the mile run with a time of 4:42.54, while Copeland finished in 35th place with a time of 5:00.51.
- The 200m dash saw Rosario finish in 33rd place with a time of 23.71. Colebrook took 34th place with a time of 23.71 and Gonzalez finished in 37th place with a time of 23.83. Mallon took 56th place with a time of 25.39.
- Aidan Nelson took 45th place in the 3000m run with a time of 9:58.31.
