CASTRO AND GRABLE NAMED TO 2025 CACC MEN'S TRACK AND FIELD ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM
2025 CACC Men's Track and Field All-Academic Team
New Haven, Conn. (6/13/25) The 2025 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's Outdoor Track & Field All-Academic Team was released today by CACC Commissioner Dan Mara. The team contains 33 student-athletes representing all 10 conference institutions that sponsor the sport.
To be eligible for CACC All-Academic status, a student-athlete must possess a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 at the end of the immediately preceding term (cumulative gpa is based off of grades through the fall 2024 semester), must be enrolled for at least two full-time semesters at his/her current institution, and must be a second-year student-athlete at his/her current institution. The CACC All-Academic Team was instituted during the 2004-05 academic year.
Georgian Court University and Wilmington University shared top honors by placing six athletes apiece on the All-Academic Team. Wilmington's Carter Sparwasser maintains a 4.00 GPA. He heads a group of 13 student-athletes honored with GPAs above 3.80, including four at 3.90 or higher.
Dominican University New York had two athletes named to the team as David Castro and Connor Grable both received the honors.
