DOMINICAN DEFEATS UNIVERSITY OF THE SCIENCES

Philadelphia, Pa. (4/2/22) The Dominican College men's tennis team defeated host, the University of the Sciences, 5-2, this afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match played at Hamlin Center.

Philadelphia, Pa. (4/2/22) The Dominican College men's tennis team defeated host, the University of the Sciences, 5-2, this afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) match played at Hamlin Center.

With the win Dominican improves to 5-4 overall and 3-3 in the conference.

The Devils won the doubles point, besting DC in second and third doubles for the early 1-0 advantage.

DC picked up wins in the first four singles matches as Guilherme Salim (Brasilia, Bazil), Marcos Lee (New York, N.Y.), Anthony Kwok (Floreal, Mauritius) and Tanaka Chabata (Bulawayo, Zimbabwe) to pull in front 4-1 and secure the win.  Qalib Bahadurali Ladhani (Guelph, Ontario) won his match at sixth singles for the 5-2 final score.
