MEN'S TENNIS OPENS SEASON WITH LOSS TO PANTHERS

Oceanside, N.Y. (2/26/22) The Dominican College men's tennis team opened up the 2022 season with a non-conference loss to Adelphi University, 5-2, in a match played at Point Set Racquet Club.

Oceanside, N.Y. (2/26/22) The Dominican College men's tennis team opened up the 2022 season with a non-conference loss to Adelphi University, 5-2, in a match played at Point Set Racquet Club.

With the loss, Dominican is now 0-1 on the season.

DC trailed 1-0 after doubles play, but wins at second and third singles by Marcos Lee (New York, N.Y.) and Anthony Kwok (Floreal, Mauritius) tied the match at 2-2. Lee won by scores of 6-2, 2-6, 6-4 and Kwok won 6-7 (5-7 tiebreak), 6-3 and 7-5.

Adelphi took the match by winning the third, fourth and fifth singles for the 5-2 win.

The Chargers are scheduled to return to action on March 12th against the University of the Sciences.
