Orangeburg, N.Y. (10/22/21) The Dominican College men's soccer team fell in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action to the visiting Wildcats of Wilmington University, 3-2, this afternoon in a game played at the OMM Soccer Complex.

Orangeburg, N.Y. (10/22/21) The Dominican College men's soccer team fell in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action to the visiting Wildcats of Wilmington University, 3-2, this afternoon in a game played at the OMM Soccer Complex.
With the loss, the Chargers are now 7-5-1 and 5-2-1 in CACC play.
WU netted goals in the 36th, 70th and 75th minutes of play for the commanding 3-0 lead. Dominican got on the score board at 77:18 when Marouf Barry (Bronx, N.Y.) scored his first of two game goals off the pass from CACC Defender of the Week Eric Affi (St. Michael, Minn.) on a shot inside the box.
Barry netted his second score in the 88th minute on a penalty kick for the final 3-2 score.
Keeper Lucas Silva Pereria (Divinopolis-MG, Brazil) made three saves in the loss.
Wilmington held a 14-13 advantage in shots and a 3-2 edge in corner kicks.
Dominican returns to action on Wednesday afternoon when they host Chestnut Hill College in CACC action at the OMM Soccer Complex.
