MEN'S SOCCER EARNS TRIP TO THE 2021 CACC FINALS

Orangeburg, N.Y. (4/9/21) The Dominican College men’s soccer team earned a trip to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) championship game with a win over Holy Family University.

Orangeburg, N.Y. (4/9/21) The Dominican College men's soccer team earned a trip to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) championship game with a win over Holy Family University.

The Chargers defeated the Tigers 1-0 in the CACC tournament semi-finals. The Chargers improve to 4-0 (3-0 CACC) on the season.

Joshua Stephens (Stony Creek, Ontario) recorded the shutout win to improve to 4-0 on the season and made four saves.

Mark Tobin suffered the loss in net for the Tigers but recorded six saves in the game.

Giacomo Salvarezza (Genova, Italy) scored the lone goal in the game and was assisted by Fredy Rosales-Santos (Norwalk, Conn.).

The goal came at 32:14 of the first half and did not change for the remainder of the game.

DC took 14 total shots in the game with Guilherme Pirana (Jundiai, Brazil) taking a team-high four shots including three on goal.

Maximino Casares Martinez (Ciudad de Panama, Panama) took three shots and recorded two on goal.

The Chargers will be back in action on Sunday, April 11th for the 2021 CACC Men's Soccer Championship Finals against Concordia College at 8:00 PM.
