#7 CHARGERS FALL TO #2 EAGLES IN CACC QUARTERFINALS

Waterbury, Conn. (11/11/19) The seventh-seeded Dominican College men's soccer team fell in 2019 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Quarterfinal action to host and second-seed, Post University, 3-0 this afternoon in a game played on LaMoy Field.

Waterbury, Conn. (11/11/19) The seventh-seeded Dominican College men's soccer team fell in 2019 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Quarterfinal action to host and second-seed, Post University, 3-0 this afternoon in a game played on LaMoy Field.

The game was scoreless through the first 47 minutes of action when Sergio Diaz put the Eagles on the scoreboard on a penalty kick goal at 47:04.  Just a little of 14 minutes later, Diaz struck again for his 16th goal of the season and extend the lead to 2-0.

Post recorded the last goal of the contest at 69:22 off the foot of Alvaro Sanchez for the 3-0 advantage and victory.

Keeper Tyler Doll (St. Louis, Mo.) made eight saves in the loss.

Dominican concludes their season with an overall record of 8-11 and a CACC mark of 6-6.

Post advances to the semi-finals where they will face #3 Holy Family University this coming Friday at 11:30am at Municipal Stadium, as Post University serves as host of the 2019 CACC Men's Soccer Championships.
