JEFFERSON TOPS MEN'S SOCCER

Orangeburg, N.Y. (10/12/19) The Jefferson University men's soccer team topped host, Dominican College, 2-0, this evening in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played on OMM Field #5.

Orangeburg, N.Y. (10/12/19) The Jefferson University men's soccer team topped host, Dominican College, 2-0, this evening in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) game played on OMM Field #5.

The Rams broke a 0-0 tie in the 38th minute on a cross from the right side into the box that allowed Theophilus Ijeboi to put the ball in the net and give Jefferson the 1-0 lead.

Jefferson added to the lead in the 74th minute with a goal off a blocked shot for the 2-0 lead and eventual win.

Maximino Casares Martinez (Ciudad De Panama, Panama) and Antonio Zhu Sanchez (Alfafar Valencia, Spain) each had three shots.

Keeper Tyler Doll (St. Louis, Mo.) made a season high nine saves in the loss.

Dominican (4-8, 2-4 CACC) will travel to Felician University this coming Wednesday evening.
