SIXTY STUDENT-ATHLETES NAMED TO 2016 CACC MEN'S SOCCER ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM
New Haven, Conn. (11/15/16) Sixty (60) student-athletes on Tuesday were named to the 2016 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Soccer All-Academic Team, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara.

New Haven, Conn. (11/15/16) Sixty (60) student-athletes on Tuesday were named to the 2016 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Soccer All-Academic Team, as announced by Commissioner Dan Mara.
In order to be named to the CACC Men's Soccer All-Academic Team, recipients be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have been a student-athlete at their current school for at least two semesters, and achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher through the spring or summer semester of 2016.
The Dominican College men's soccer team had three members make the CACC All-Academic Team. Junior Matthew Snow (Greenville, N.Y.) earns his second All-Academic honors, while Marco Flores (West Hempstead, N.Y.) and Albert Martinez (Huntington Station, N.Y.) make their first appearance on the team.
Three student-athletes on the list earned perfect 4.0 cumulative grade point averages including Georgian Court University's Felix Gercke, Nyack College's Finn Reese and Caldwell University's Jesper Stenberg. Ten (10) other student-athletes earned GPAs ranging from 3.90 to 3.99.
Caldwell, Georgian Court and Goldey-Beacom Collegeled the way with nine honorees each. Concordia College's Ovan Oakley, who earlier in the month was named the 2016 CACC Player of the Year, also garnered a spot on the All-Academic Team with a 3.68 GPA in his major of business leadership.
Seven individuals on the list were named to the All-Academic Team for the third time in their impressive careers. Twenty (20) student-athletes were two-time honorees.
The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference is an NCAA Division II Conference composed of 14 institutions in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. The member institutions are Bloomfield College, Caldwell University, Chestnut Hill College, Concordia (N.Y.) College, Dominican (N.Y.) College, Felician University, Georgian Court University, Goldey-Beacom College, Holy Family University, Nyack College, Philadelphia University, Post University of Waterbury, University of the Sciences, and Wilmington University.
