Fourth quarter lead Ravens to victory over men's lacrosse.

Hillburn, N.Y. (3/16/18) The Franklin Pierce University men's lacrosse team used three goals in the fourth quarter to lift them to a 7-4 victory over host, Dominican College, in a non-conference game played at the Torne Valley Sports Complex.

Sophomore attacker Michael Reyes (East Meadow, N.Y.) led the Dominican offense with two goals.

Evan Heegan (North Babylon, N.Y.) and Christian Hernandez (Farmingdale, N.Y.) recorded the other Charger goals.

Keeper Joseph Fabiilli (Glen Head, N.Y.) made 14 saves in the loss.

The Ravens took a 2-0 lead with under seven minutes left in the second quarter, but Heegan was able to bring DC within a score before the intermission to cut the lead to 2-1.

A Reyes man-up goal tied the game early in the third frame, but FPU countered about two and a half minutes later with a goal to regain the 3-2 edge.  With 10:01 on the clock, Hernandez re-tied the game at 3-3.  FPU ended the third quarter with a goal and netted consecutive goals in the fourth to push ahead, 6-3.  Reyes netted a second man-up goal to make the score 6-4, but the Ravens ended the scoring with a goal with a little over two minutes remaining to claim the 7-4 victory.

Benjamin Lasslow led the Ravens with three goals in the contest.

Dominican now stands at 0-5 on the season, while the Ravens improve to 2-0.
