With the loss, Dominican falls to 3-7 overall and 1-3 in conference play.
CHC scored seven unanswered goals before the Chargers got on the scoreboard with 9:35 to play before the break as sophomore midfielder Ryan Wiberly (Setauket, N.Y.) netted the unassisted goal.
Senior Conor Reeves (Tappan, N.Y.) made the score 9-2 in the third quarter off the assist from freshman David Arent (Huntington Beach, Calif.) and sophomore Evan Heegan (North Babylon, N.Y.) ended the third quarter scoring with a goal following the assist from Arent with 1:22 on the clock.
Midfielder Blake Israel (Parkland, Fla.) broke a 3-0 Griffin run with his first game goal with under four to go and junior midfielder Sean Driscoll (Stony Point, N.Y.) recorded the final goal of the game after Arent's pass for the final 15-5 score.
The Chargers were 13-18 on clears and held a 15-9 advantage on face offs. CHC had a 40-35 edge in shots.
Arent finished the game with three assists.
Freshman Aaron Yulfo (Shirley, N.Y.) led the team with eight shots.
Starting goalie Joseph Fabiilli (Glen Head, N.Y.) made 13 saves in 52 minutes, while Carlos Villaman (Montgomery, N.Y.) played the final 7:51 and had three saves.
Dominican returns to action on Tuesday afternoon as they travel to ECC foe, Mercy College.
