Baltimore, Md. (3/9/16) The Dominican College men's lacrosse team fell to the Lynn University Fighting Knights, 16-5, this evening in a non-conference game played at Homewood Field on the campus of John Hopkins University.

LU took the early 4-0 lead within the first four minutes of the game, but the Chargers got on the board with 9:19 left in the first quarter as sophomore Ryan Wiberly (Setauket, N.Y.) netted the unassisted goal.
The Fighting Knights began the second quarter on a 3-0 run before East Coast Conference (ECC) Rookie of the Week, David Arent (Huntington Beach, Calif.) scored a goal with 6:17 to play before the break to make the score 7-2. Wiberly ended the first half with his second game goal off the assist by Aaron Yulfo (Shirley, N.Y.) for an 8-3 score at the intermission.
Lynn did all of the scoring in the third quarter as they tallied four goal and opened the final quarter with a goal to extend their lead to 13-3. Yulfo broke the run with an unassisted goal and Arent followed with his second goal of the game. LU closed out the game with the final three goals for the 16-5 final score.
Arent and Wiberly finished with two goals each in the loss.
Yulfo had one goal and one assists.
Starting goalie Joseph Fabiilli (Glen Head, N.Y.) made 12 saves in 44:29 in the Charger net.
Carlos Villaman (Montgomery, N.Y.) had one save in 12:46, while Matthew Sandelier (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) recorded two saves in the final 4:45 of action.
With the loss, Dominican falls to 2-3 on the season.
The Chargers return to action on Friday evening as they host Roberts Wesleyan College in East Coast Conference (ECC) action. Game time is set for 5pm at the Torne Valley Sports Complex.
