CHARGERS END SEASON WITH A LOSS TO #7 NEW YORK INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

Old Westbury, N.Y. (4/25/15) The Dominican College men's lacrosse team ended the 2015 season with a 15-4 loss to #7 New York Institute of Technology in East Coast Conference (ECC) action played at President's Stadium.

Old Westbury, N.Y. (4/25/15)  The Dominican College men's lacrosse team ended the 2015 season with a 15-4 loss to #7 New York Institute of Technology in East Coast Conference (ECC) action played at President's Stadium.

Dominican got on the scoreboard first as sophomore attacker Conor Reeves* (Tappan, N.Y.) netted an unassisted goal with 13:27 to play in the first half. 

From their NYIT went on a 9-0 run that spanned the rest of the first quarter, the second quarter and into the third to pull ahead 9-1.

Attacker Jimmy Anderson (Hewlett, N.Y.) broke the run with 3:12 remaining in the third quarter with a goal off the assist from Ryan Wiberly (Setauket, N.Y.) to make the score 9-2.

Felix Kessler (Nyack, N.Y.) closed out the third quarter scoring with a goal to bring the score to 10-3.

Following a 2-0 Bear spur to start the fourth quarter, Reeves netted his second game goal with 7:32 remaining in the contest to get the last goal for the Chargers in the 15-4 loss.

Reeves finished the game with two goals.

Starting goalie Carlos Villaman (Montgomery, N.Y.) made two saves in 30 minutes, while Matthew Sandelier (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.) had five saves in the second half.

With the loss, Dominican ends the season with an overall record of 1-12 and an 0-8 record in the ECC.
