O'MAHONY, SEARFOSS WIN 2025-26 CACC BASKETBALL TOP XVI AWARDS
New Haven, Conn. (3/6/26) Michael O'Mahony, a senior at Dominican University New York, is the winner of the 2025-26 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's Basketball Top XVI Award, CACC Commissioner Dan Mara announced today. Mara also released that Skyler Searfoss, a senior at Holy Family University, is the recipient of this year's CACC Women's Basketball Top XVI Award.
The CACC Top XVI Award is presented in each of the conference's NCAA championship sports to the student-athlete at the finals site with the highest cumulative undergraduate grade-point average and at least 48 credits earned at his/her current institution. The student-athlete must be a member of the active roster and be competing at the finals site.
O'Mahony, of Cork, Ireland, maintains a 3.71 GPA at Dominican while majoring in mathematics and business management. Searfoss, from Jim Thorpe, Pa., is majoring in sports marketing management at Holy Family and possesses a perfect 4.00 GPA. She was also an All-CACC Third Team honoree.
